… Paper Finish Guide
Giclée Fine Art Print (312gsm) (Recommended)

Heavyweight smooth fine art paper with a matte, non-reflective surface — a classic gallery look with superb tonal depth.

  • Matte finish, no glare when framed
  • Collector / gallery presentation
  • Softer, painterly tonal depth
Satin Print (265gsm)

Smooth photographic-style paper with a subtle satin sheen. Strong colour and contrast with controlled reflections.

  • Subtle sheen, crisp detail
  • Slightly stronger contrast
  • Photographic-style finish

Tip: Choose Giclée for a traditional gallery finish, or Satin for a smoother photographic look.

Both papers are archival and printed using pigment inks — you can’t choose “wrong”. It’s simply a finish preference.

… What you’ll receive
Print size & border

Printed at your chosen size (A4 or A3) with a clean white border, ready for mounting or framing.

Signature

Includes Melvyn’s signature as part of the artwork (a high-quality digital signature). Hand-signed editions (where offered) are always clearly marked.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every print includes a Certificate of Authenticity for provenance. Limited editions may also be individually numbered.

Packaging

Prints are carefully rolled and shipped in wide, heavy-duty protective postal tubes — the safest method for fine art prints, helping prevent creasing, corner damage, or surface marks in transit. (Full shipping rates are listed in the Shipping & Packaging section below.)

Example print layouts: portrait and landscape

How to flatten your print

  1. Remove the print from the tube.
  2. Lay it face-up on a clean, flat surface.
  3. Place a few clean books or a flat board on top.
  4. Leave for 12–24 hours — the print will naturally relax and flatten.

Once flattened, the print is ready for mounting or framing.
